Music as literature

Yes, I believe music can be considered literature because it is a poem or a story with a beat with it. Literture is writings in which expression and form, in connection with ideas of permanent and universal interest, are characteristic or essential features, as poetry, novels, history, biography, and essays (dictionary.com). So to me I don't see how music is not literature because it is usually written down and has characteristics, universal intrest, and essential futures. The only difference between music and literature are the instruments used for them nd the beat music has that literature doesn't have.

  1. I like your blog but you should try to make it stand out more. Make it so people want to use their time just to come look at it :) Also you are missing an assignment or two...Make sure to keep up with the class. Good luck!
